Can anyone help me yze Shakespeare's sonnet 23?

Is this sonnets theme fear in uncertainty? I understand some of the lines but I don't understand lines 9-12 at all; and in lines 5-8 is he saying that he couldn't get married because his fear of trust or he doesn't think he could trust someone or they could trust him?
