To All the COLDPLAY FANS Out There...?

Is anyone else fed up of reading reviews of their new album and seeing Radiohead and U2 comparisons pasted all over the place? Coldplay have established themselves as their OWN BAND, and it's about time that people stop comparing them to Radiohead all the time. Every band is influenced in some way or another by other bands, why do people make it seem as if Coldplay are the only ones? I've actually listened to some Radiohead lately out of curiosity and I don't find that Coldplay's sound is remotely close to Radiohead's, I wish people would stop complaining and try to actually see the beauty in Coldplay's music instead!
