How much is a used 2004 sportsman 400 worth?

HI,I am looking at a used 2004 sportsman 400 4x4 with 2028 miles. the person that has it now is the second owner and they say they got it from a senior citizen who just did leisure riding in the south east. The people that have it now say they've had it a year and only put 15 or so miles on it. They have replaced CTV joints and things of that nature in hopes of keeping it. they also put a 2500lb winch (warn) on it and haven't used it. They have receipts from polaris that say the work has been done.i looked at it and it was nice it had a hard plastic box on the back . a bad thing i noticed was the rims (stock) all 4 were bent and chewed up badly. he wants $3,500 for it but the mileage is high and i am weary of how bad the rims are i would like to replace them with stock ones (all 4). i think it is pricey but i don't want to pay that and ?$ for new rims and big maintenance bills for high mileage and i don't have much money to spend. thank you
