Is $50 for one carton of newport cigarettes worth buying?

i don't smoke and never did tho, my friend does and he asked me to get him 1 carton of cigarettes in colombia, so i found out over there that its value is $50 per carton! is it worth the buy compared to the usa?? please i need to know before any desicion thanks!
