70s 80s horror film, cheesy, extremely gory, recall a flesh room, and "the book of the dead"?

Watched it on sci-fi channel, tv movie only probably, pregnant cop whos child gets stolen from her stomach on an alter in a giant flesh room, whos walls bleed, also recall another segment of the movie in which a middle aged man wearing a suit steels a book from another man (possibly a monk) in doing so turning his face inside out, and banishing him into another dimension, then walking away with what may or not be the "book of the dead" this movie has driven me crazy since i've seen it, i've not been able to find it anywhere on any listing, maybe it doesn't even exist? if you are having a similar experience let me know, we can both be crazy together
